Goosebumps 2 Haunted Halloween with L.A. Mamacitas
This post was sponsored by L.A. Mamacitas, but all opinions are my own 🙂
Now that it’s finally starting to feel like Fall in SoCal, that means it’s pumpkin patch time! We were invited to a fun Goosebumps 2 pumpkin decorating party by the L.A. Mamacitas Monday night, and it was the perfect Fall outing. We had the best time getting together with some local mamas and their little ones so I wanted to share our experience with you guys!
It took place at Robles Pumpkin Patch, and it was love at first sight for Gray when he saw all of the fun jumpers and activities they had. They had jumpers, inflatable slides and obstacle courses with some of Gray’s favorite characters on them. They also had a petting zoo with goats, chickens and the cutest baby pigs, which Gray loved. I was immediately greeted by some of the awesome mamas that I met at the Sherlock Gnomes Promo Event we attended in March, and co-founder of L.A. Mamacitas , Ruby.
All of the kiddos were wearing adorable Goosebumps baseball tees, and there was a table set up for pumpkin decorating. In true L.A. Mamacitas fashion there was a cute area for photos and Goosebumps 2 goody bags for all of the little ones.
Gray picked out a couple of pumpkins and started decorating them with stickers, markers and rhinestones with the other kids. Since Gray is an only child, I love events like this where he gets to interact with other kids his age. After everyone ate some pizza, we all made our way over to the jumpers.
The L.A. Mamacitas really thought of everything and had tickets ready for all of the kids to use. Gray had such a blast climbing, sliding, jumping and making friends. While the kids jumped, I was able to catch up with some of the mamas (while we also made sure our kids weren’t falling out of the jumper or sneaking into empty ones haha). I can’t even tell you guys how nice it feels to hang out with other mamas who I can relate to and who I can laugh with about our daily struggles.
We eventually got the kids out of the jumpers and they ran around and ended up near the petting zoo. There was a huuge rabbit, a miniature pony and a few other animals that the kids were fascinated with. Of course Gray tried to jump over the bales of hay to get to get to the animals, so I had to intercept as usual. There were a couple of other boys Gray’s age so it was a lot of fun watching him interact with them. I overheard him having a conversation about dinosaurs (his fav topic) with one of the other little boys and it was pretty freaking adorable.
We gathered our goody bag and Gray’s bedazzled pumpkins, and said goodbye to everyone before we headed home. We usually don’t go places on week days so it was definitely a fun Monday night for us! I’ve mentioned it before in this post, but finding a community of supportive moms has made such a huge impact on me. I’m so grateful for L.A. Mamacitas for working so hard to put together events like this that bring mamas and their little ones together! We had the best time and can’t wait to go watch Goosebumps 2!
