Preparing for Flu Season with Kroger

If you guys are anything like us, then flu season was probably pretty rough for you last year. It seemed like at least one of us was sick every other week, and it was HORRIBLE. I’m so traumatized from last year that I wanted to make sure that I stocked up on some of my favorite, trusted products now that this year’s flu season is quickly approaching.
Even though getting sick is pretty much inevitable, it makes me feel more at ease when I’m prepared. There’s nothing worse than running to the grocery store when you’re already sick, so I stopped by my local Kroger store to get a head start on my flu season supplies. I was so happy that I was able to find everything I needed in a few short minutes!
I love sharing great products with you guys, so I wanted to tell you about the three items I picked up at Ralph’s to help us prepare for flu season.
- Kleenex® Germ Removal Wipes
It’s really hard to prevent the spread of germs when you have a child who touches everything. I love keeping these germ removal wipes in my purse, at home and at the office. Whether I’m cleaning off the counter at home, wiping Gray’s hands after going to the park or cleaning off a shopping cart, I feel relieved knowing that they safely wipe away 99% of germs from skin with no harsh chemicals. It’s also great that they’re strong for hands, and soft for the face & body. The combination of dependable care and ultimate softness is what makes me buy them over and over. I found them in the Kleenex section.
If you guys are interested, here are a few of the savings that are available:
- Look for the $1.50 coupon on 4-pack Kleenex Facial Tissues, for Kleenex Germ Removal Wet Wipes.
- And, 11/4-11/24 you can get .50¢ off Kleenex 4-pack bundles and Kleenex Wet Wipes via this digital offer.
- You can save $2.00 on any ONE (1) Theraflu Power Pods through 12/8, via this digital offer.
- Lipton Daily Support
It’s so important to strengthen the immune system, especially during flu season. I love the Lipton Daily Support tea because it’s an excellent source of Vitamin C.* It contains an herbal infusion that helps support your body’s natural defenses. Carefully selected botanicals are blended with green tea and essentials oils so every cup is delicious and full of health benefits. The Lipton Wellness range helps make wellbeing a part of your everyday routine, which aligns perfectly with my life. It also helps that it’s delicious! I found this product in the tea section at my local Ralph’s.
- Theraflu Power Pods Nighttime Severe Cold
Theraflu is always my go-to when I’m not feeling well, so I was super excited to find out that they now have Power Pods that are compatible with most single-serve coffee makers. The convenient and fast-relieving pods work on even your most severe symptom. They’re available in both Daytime Severe Cold and Nighttime Severe Cold, but I opted for the Nighttime Severe Cold this time. My favorite thing about Theraflu is that it offers powerful relief without having to worry about a prescription. There’s definitely something soothing about sipping on a cup of Theraflu when you’re under the weather, and I love how simple and easy it is to make. I found these pods in the medicine aisle.
I hope these products are as helpful for you guys as they have been for me! If you’re interested, you can find out more here.

My family just moved across the country and not being acclimated to this climate is kicking our butts this year, health wise. That Lipton Daily Support tea looks interesting. I might have to give that a try. Thanks!
